The Ringmaster

As some of you may have noticed, the ringmaster isn't scary. My whole plan was to do a scary ringmaster shoot, but after doing the scary make up and taking a few shots i realised i didn't like it as much as i thought i would, so we changed the make up and turned it into a more classy shoot instead, which i love !. I'm so pleased with how they have turned out, but now I'm going to have to find another scary idea instead. The photographs where shot in a barn using one light that had a soft box on. I also used my Polaroid camera again and was very pleased that all the photographs i took with it turned out. As always let me know what you think, i will leave the link to my facebook page below.

A Clown.

This Afternoon after work i took the opportunity to take the first set of photographs in my Halloween/scary circus series. As well as using these photographs as part of my circus photographs it was a trail for Halloween (so there may be more clown photographs at the end of the month). I ordered 2 packs of Polaroid film one in colour and the other, cool shade (black and white), I've tried to use this before and failed as i failed to shield it from the light in the first few crucial seconds, but this time i managed okay...just ! one didn't work, and the others aren't in fantastic focus but i think it adds to the effect.

My original photographs where in colour but after fiddling in photoshop i discovered they looked better in black and white. Most of them have a texture layered over the top of them. I used 1 studio light with a honeycomb.

Below are my Polaroids, the photographs of them aren't fantastic, i took for but 1 didn't work and the other one didn't photograph well.

These below are obviously my digital versions.
